During my undergraduate education, I focused on providing counseling in a forensic setting. I worked at Bonnie Brae conducting institutional longitudinal research on program effectiveness while in a residential setting. Soon after, I went on to work at the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center which provided treatment to convicted sex offenders. This experience allowed me to find my passion for providing therapy to underserved populations to individuals in forensic settings. During my junior and senior years, I completed an internship at a women’s shelter in Bergen County. I provided behavioral assistance to children and support to mothers who had been victims of domestic violence.
